Eligibility

TO QUALIFY YOU MUST MEET THESE INCOME GUIDELINES:

- Gross household incomes must meet the following amounts

Bedroom Size	Minimum Rent	Flat Rent	Minimum Income
1 Bedroom	$250.00	$350.00	$12,000 or more per year
2 Bedroom	$300.00	$450.00	$14,000 or more per year
3 Bedroom	$350.00	$550.00	$16,000 or more per year

*Rent is based upon 25% of the total household income or the established flat rent. Utilities provided include Gas, Trash Removal, and Lawn Care.

Tenant supplies Stove, Refrigerator, and Washer/Dryer and is responsible for Water/Sewer and Electric.

In order to be eligible, an adult member of the household must meet the minimum income requirements and also one of the following requirements:

Working 30 hours per week, 50 weeks per year;

Receiving a pension

Receiving Social Security payments;

Receiving Child Support

Receiving Workmen's Compensation, or

Receiving Unemployment Compensation

* A screening process will also be conducted on applicants to verify credit background, rental history, and a thorough criminal check will be performed.

PLACEMENT PROCEDURE

The waiting list is maintained according to date and time of application. Eligible applicants only pay 25% of their gross income towards rent or established flat rent.

Please be advised veterans receive a preference. We also grant local preference for any applicants residing within the city limits of Altoona, PA.
