TO QUALIFY YOU MUST BE:

- Elderly or Near Elderly
(Fifty years of age or older)

- Or Disabled

* All single applicants will be placed into an efficiency apartment unless there is a medical need for an accessible or one-bedroom unit. Such request must be verified by a professional and approved by the Altoona Housing Authority. Couples automatically qualify for a one-bedroom apartment.

AND MEET THE FOLLOWING INCOME GUIDELINES:

- Gross household incomes must not exceed the following amounts

Household Size	Income Limits
1 Person Household	$28,850 or less per year
2 Person Household	$32,950 or less per year
3 Person Household	$37,100 or less per year
4 Person Household	$41,200 or less per year

* A screening process will also be conducted on applicants to verify credit background, rental history, and a thorough criminal check will be performed.
